The method facilitates students to be independent and apply their problem solving and creative thinking skills in analyzing various real life business situations. Unlike most professional management programmes in India, PSB's teaching method is participant-centred, where emphasis goes on learning rather than teacher-centred teaching.

PSB's curriculum is integrated, enabling students to conceive big picture of a business very easily. Four themes - developing entrepreneurial mind-set, internationalisation, innovation and social responsibility - run concurrently in all courses in the programme.
