1. Is the degree same as MBA?
Yes, successful candidates will get Master of Business Administration (Executive), which is a fully validated award from Nottingham Trent University, UK. It is an MBA with the distinction that it is awarded to only Executives.
 
2. Is it possible to complete the studies of two years full time basis in 18 months?
In a full time course the actual studies are of 60 weeks. In the MBA(Exec) programme, we have 78 weeks. Since the executive participants are already in employment, they do not require vacations and internships.
 
3. But the classes are conducted on weekends, so how difficult it will be to complete the studies?
PSB MBA(Exec) programme follows a pattern of Modules, which consist of 3-4 courses which are taught at the same time and which are assessed together. This pattern enables participants to concentrate on one module at a time, complete the assessments and move to the next module. These way participants do not carry the burden and tension of semester or annual examinations.
 
4. What is so special about Pearl MBA?
PSB MBA (Exec) programme prepares young managers to become Business Leaders in the Global space by focusing on Entrepreneurship, Internationalisation, Innovation and Social Responsibility. The programme structure provides for extensive treatment of these four themes. Secondly, the programme weaves theory and practice together through case studies, projects and work related assignments. Thirdly, the faculty for these programmes is drawn from India and abroad giving participants the breadth of perspectives.
 
5. Is the NTU degree accepted as equivalent in India?
The Association of Indian Universities has given equivalence to the degrees given by Nottingham Trent University, UK.
 
6. Does PSB provide placement assistance to executive participants?
PSB has a network of industry linkages through its DBA programme and Internship arrangements, besides industry representation on its Advisory Council. For executive participants who wish to leverage their MBA for career development, PSB faculty would be willing to offer placement counseling and support.
 
7. Do banks provide educational loans for PSB programmes?
Punjab National Bank and Axis Bank provide educational loans to students of full time PSB programmes.
 
8. Why are the fees fixed at a level higher than most other Executive Degree programmes?
PSB has created excellent facilities for all participants by investing in technology and inviting full time faculty from reputed institutions. It has also invested in establishing the collaborative arrangements with Babson College and Nottingham Trent University. At the end of the programme, the participants get an International Degree by studying in India (at a fraction of what it would cost to study for the same in UK).
