The month of July 08 saw two important visits from the Nottingham Trent University, UK to PSB. On 3 July, Prof Paul Periton, Director of the Centre for Academic Standards and Quality at NTU, visited PSB alongwith Prof Ms Michelle Pepin and Mr John Griffiths. The team met Prof IM Pandey, Director, PSB and his faculty colleagues in connection with the launch of the BBA programme at PSB this academic year.

Prof Periton and his colleagues visited the Library and the Computer Centre to see the latest additions in the form of electronic data bases. During the discussion Prof Periton mentioned that Nottingham has become the first city in UK to be wireless enabled for all citizens free of charge. As a result students can access internet sitting in the pubs as well. Prof Periton said this is leading the pubs to modify their interior design. We said our students in Gurgaon would definitely welcome this type of change.

On 15 and 16 July Prof Shish Malde visited PSB in the capacity of Verifier on behalf of NTU. He met students, staff and faculty to find out the progress and the standards achieved by PSB over the last year. He came away with a feeling of allround optimism about the interest taken by the students and the involvement of the faculty in building the institution.
