PSB Advisory Council meets...

The third meeting of the PSB Advisory Council took place on 18 June 2008. Chaired by Mr Deepak Seth the meeting was attended by Prof Said Irandoust, President of Asian Institute of Technology and new members representing the industry. Mr Sarthak Behuria, CMD of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Mr Vivek Jain, CMD DCW Ltd, Mr Partha Rakshit, MD, The Nielsen Co, Mr Mohan Pusalkar, ED and President (New Projects) Godrej Soaps Ltd and Mr Ravi Naware, Chief Executive, ITC Foods Division were the new members who attended the Council meeting for the first time.

The deliberations of the Council focused on the processes of Quality Assurance, the new BBA programme and the progress of the programmes launched earlier in the year. Director, Prof IM Pandey explained to the members the underlying rationale and philosophy of the different programmes of PSB.

Chairman, Mr Deepak Seth outlined the further plans for expansion of the facilities and expressed satisfaction that industry leaders had extended their strong support to Pearl School of Business.
