| Mr Vimal Bahuguna, President of the Chicago-based Drona Group LLC, presented his perspective on the Innovations in the Pharma industry worldwide to the students of MBA 07 class on 29 Sept 07. He spoke of the dire need for innovations faced by the global majors and their record of success in view of the huge spending on R&D. He also summarised the challenges of the new Patent regime for the Indian Pharma companies. Mr Bahuguna specialises in providing business strategy counsel to top managements and Boards of large Pharma and biotech startups and device and vaccine companies. Mr Bahuguna is a member of the Pearl Advisory Council from its inception. |
